China's multi-agency green-manufacturing guidance provides a policy direction for manufacturing transition. Workwear procurement can use it to structure environmental-information collection, but no environmental statement should be treated as proof of protective performance or compliance.
The public record notes: The guidance was issued by seven Chinese agencies in February 2024. It addresses green and low-carbon manufacturing, resource use, and green-supply-chain directions. A public policy document is not a performance certification for an individual fabric or garment.
Procurement forms should separate protective-performance evidence from environmental-attribute evidence, each with source, validity period, and verification status. This supports green-supply-chain communication without allowing vague environmental language to displace technical acceptance.
