ISO 20347:2021: foot protection needs separate requirements and evidence, not a uniform-bundle label

ISO lists ISO 20347:2021, Personal protective equipment — Occupational footwear. Workwear projects often bundle footwear with garments, but foot hazards, sizing, ground conditions, and care cycles should be reviewed separately.

The public record notes: The ISO page shows the edition was published on 17 December 2021. Its title concerns occupational footwear within personal protective equipment. A specific project needs to determine risk, appropriate product type, and local requirements; a bundle name is not enough.

Footwear is often placed on the last line of a garment project, leaving trials, replacement, sole conditions, and cleaning responsibility unclear. Making foot protection a separate requirement line surfaces supply, fit, and care issues that differ from garments earlier.
